RESEARCH DOSSIER / SOURCE REVIEWThis is a source-based research summary, not an official finding.Claims remain labelled DOCUMENTED, OPEN QUESTION, CONTEXT or NOT ESTABLISHED. A thematic edge is not evidence of a common operation.

01 / DOCUMENTED CORE

What the available record supports.

DOCUMENTED / SOURCE-BASED
In 2021 DR, SVT, NRK, NDR, WDR, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Le Monde reported on a secret FE review code-named Operation Dunhammer.
DOCUMENTED / SOURCE-BASED
The reporting said the review examined NSA surveillance through Danish cooperation during 2012–2014 and included targets in allied European states.
DOCUMENTED / SOURCE-BASED
The reporting was based on multiple sources with access to classified material, not on a publicly released Dunhammer report.
DOCUMENTED / SOURCE-BASED
Therefore the public evidentiary status is strong collaborative reporting, not a primary document available for independent public verification.

02 / OPEN QUESTIONS & TESTS

Where the record stops.

OPEN QUESTION
Which technical selectors, cable-access arrangements and target lists are independently documented in public records.
OPEN QUESTION
What portions of the FE–NSA relationship are acknowledged by official Danish material.
OPEN QUESTION
How later Danish criminal/administrative cases illuminate the secrecy architecture without proving every reported Dunhammer detail.
